Horla is a horror game where you step into the shoes of Moacir Gonçalo, a private detective hired to investigate an old and mysterious haunted house. Moacir must embark on a journey through a house that feels alive—where rooms shift positions, shadowy beings stalk him, and traumas from his past come to life.

As he delves deeper, the detective uncovers the history of the spirit that seems to control the house—an ancient entity called Horla.

Horla is a 3D first-person horror game that blends survival, exploration, puzzles, and interactive storytelling.

The House is the Monster

The environment itself is a living entity that seeks to kill the protagonist and create psychological conflicts through traps and challenges. Unlike traditional horror games, Horla does not rely on a single monstrous pursuer. Instead, the house itself is the monster, twisting reality and warping the player’s sense of space.

A Distinct Visual and Psychological Experience

Horla features a strong visual style inspired by the works of artist Mike Mignola, embracing a gothic cartoon aesthetic with high-contrast black shading and a limited color palette.

The game dives deep into psychological thriller elements, exploring PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), blending themes of war and horror. A war survivor is haunted by specters of death, explosions, mutilation, and despair, making Horla a gripping and unsettling experience that goes beyond traditional horror tropes.
